Workspace Usage & Billing Dashboard

Published February 28, 2026 · Last updated March 5, 2026 · 3 min read

Obvious gives workspace admins two pages for tracking spending and activity: Usage for analytics and Billing for managing your plan, credits, and seats. Together, they answer the question every admin eventually asks — where are our credits going?

Finding the Dashboard

Open Settings from the sidebar, then look under Workspace. You'll see two items:

  • Usage — credit consumption analytics, broken down by time, team member, project, and feature.
  • Billing — your current plan, credit balance, seat count, auto-reload settings, and payment history.

Both require owner or admin access.

What the Usage Page Shows

The Usage page is a date-filtered analytics dashboard. By default it shows the last seven days, but you can switch to the last month or pick a custom range from the date picker in the top-right corner.

Summary Cards

Five cards across the top give you the snapshot: Credits used, Artifacts created, Active users, Threads, and Messages. Each card includes a trend indicator comparing the current period to the previous one, so you can spot changes at a glance.

Credits Over Time

A time-series chart plots daily credit consumption across your date range. Useful for spotting patterns or spikes.

Usage by Feature

A breakdown showing which features consumed the most credits: chat messages, code execution, web searches, image generation, and others.

Team Activity

Each workspace member gets a row showing credits used, threads, and projects. Sort by any column to find your power users. Additional sections let you drill into usage by project, by individual thread, and by agent mode (Fast, Auto, Deep).

Understanding the Billing Page

Plan. Your current plan name, price, and renewal date. Click Manage Plan to upgrade, downgrade, or switch between Personal and Team plans.

Credits. Your current balance. On Team plans, you'll see personal credits (per seat) and shared credits (the workspace pool). A warning banner appears when credits run low or hit zero.

Seats. Team plans only. Shows seats in use, auto-scale status, and each member's tier (Standard or Pro), credit balance, and role.

Auto-reload. Automatically purchases credits when your balance drops below a threshold you set. Configure the reload amount and monthly limit in Settings → Billing.

Billing history. Invoices and credit grants in a sortable table. Download or view any invoice from the row menu.

Managing Seats

On Team plans, the Billing page doubles as your seat management hub. From Workspace Members & Credits you can:

  • Toggle auto-scale to add seats automatically when new members join.
  • Switch a member between Standard and Pro tiers. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.
  • Assign credits from the workspace pool to individual members.
  • View usage for any member to see where their credits went.

Guests appear in a collapsible section below seats. Their usage is billed separately.
