This guide walks you through viewing your plan, understanding credits, and managing your subscription in Obvious.
Find your billing settings
Open Settings → Billing from the workspace menu in the sidebar. The billing page shows your current plan, credit balance, and payment history.
Note: Only workspace admins can view and manage billing. If you don't see the Billing option, ask your workspace admin to make changes.
Plans
Obvious has four paid plans:
| Plan | Price | Included Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | $25/month | 30 credits |
| Personal Pro | $200/month | 235 credits |
| Team | $40/seat/month | 45 credits per seat |
| Team Pro | $240/seat/month | 280 credits per seat |
Enterprise plans are also available with custom pricing, dedicated infrastructure, and custom SLAs. Contact sales for details.
Personal plans are for individual users. Team plans add shared workspaces, unlimited team members, shared projects, roles and permissions, SSO, and audit logs. Pro tiers (both Personal and Team) unlock advanced features like multi-threading, scheduled tasks, custom skills, and priority support.
If you're on a free account, you'll see your remaining credits and can upgrade to a paid plan anytime from the billing page.
Understand credits
Credits are how Obvious measures AI usage. Every interaction with the agent — generating content, analyzing data, running tasks — uses credits. Your plan includes a monthly credit grant that refills at the start of each billing cycle.
When you run low, Obvious shows a warning banner on the billing page. You can buy additional credits anytime. Each credit costs $0.85.
Set up auto-reload
To avoid running out of credits mid-workflow, you can turn on auto-reload. When your balance hits zero, Obvious automatically purchases more credits using your payment method on file.
From the billing page:
-
Find the auto-reload section.
-
Choose a reload amount (50, 100, 250, or 500 credits — or set a custom amount).
-
Optionally set a monthly limit to cap how much auto-reload can spend.
-
Click Enable.
Auto-reload requires an active paid subscription and a payment method on file.
Upgrade or downgrade
To change your plan, click Manage plan on the billing page. Obvious opens a secure checkout page (powered by Stripe) where you can:
-
Switch between Personal and Team plans.
-
Move between Standard and Pro tiers.
-
Update your payment method.
-
View and download invoices.
When upgrading, the price difference is prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current period.
Cancel your subscription
Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period — you won't lose access immediately. If you change your mind, click Resume Subscription before the period ends.
What happens when a trial expires
When your trial ends, your workspace moves to a free account. Your projects, data, and artifacts are preserved — nothing gets deleted. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime to pick up where you left off.
