Monitor Task Runs in Your Inbox
Last updated June 23, 2026 · 3 min read
The Inbox shows your scheduled and webhook-triggered task runs as they happen. You can open any run to see exactly what the agent did, monitor runs in progress, act on runs that are waiting at a gate, and pin tasks you return to often.
Before you start
Make sure you have at least one task set up with a schedule or a webhook trigger. For setup, see Scheduling Tasks or Webhooks (UI Setup).
Find and open a run
Each time a scheduled or webhook-triggered task fires, it creates a run in your Inbox. Open a run to see a full record of what the agent did and whether anything needs attention. While a task is running, it appears in the activity panel with a live progress indicator.
Understand a run showing Paused
A run shows Paused when it has reached a gate and is waiting before the workflow can continue. This is not the same as a paused schedule — the task is mid-run, not stopped.
Gate behavior differs by type:
-
Approval gates wait until someone acts on them. The approval card appears in the run's thread — open the run to find the card and respond.
-
Timeout gates clear automatically when the wait time elapses.
If a run has been sitting on Paused longer than expected, open it from your Inbox to see which gate is waiting and what action is needed.
Pin a task
Pinning keeps a task at the top of your Inbox so it is always easy to find. Pinned tasks appear in a dedicated section above the rest of the list and stay there across sessions.
To pin a task, open ⋯ on the task and select Pin. To remove the pin, open ⋯ on the pinned task and select Unpin.
Troubleshoot
A scheduled run did not fire. Check whether the task's schedule is paused. If the schedule is active but the task still did not run, check the timezone saved in the schedule — it runs at the scheduled time in the saved timezone, not your current location. See Scheduling Tasks for detailed guidance.
A run is stuck on Paused. Open the run from your Inbox to see the gate type. Approval gates require someone to act on the card in the run's thread. Timeout gates clear on their own.
A webhook task is not running. Check whether the webhook subscription is active — a paused subscription ignores incoming events. See Webhooks (UI Setup) for subscription management.
